Description
These dolls were made by Rena Wassillia and Rion Vickers who are both Aleut. They were born in Anchorage, Alaska. Rena is 13 years old. She was the first child to receive a Cochlear ear implant at the Alaska Native Hospital. Rion is 8 years old. They are being taught native crafts by their grand mother, Kathy Vickers. Besides dolls they also make native Head Dresses, earrings and bracelets.
